Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to Country on the Castle and to all events organised, promoted or operated by Sauly Events Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 14390156).Throughout, “the organiser”, “we” and “us” mean Sauly Events Ltd, and “the event” means the event to which your ticket relates.Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Tickets, Purchasing & Fraud

All tickets must be purchased through Skiddle, our only official ticketing partner. A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided at checkout. Tickets are issued digitally — it is your responsibility to ensure your details are correct and your ticket is received before the event.

Any ticket that has been resold without authorisation, altered, duplicated, forged, stolen, or purchased from an unauthorised source may be cancelled without notice and entry refused without refund. The organiser accepts no responsibility for tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties.

2. Refunds & Event Changes

If you can’t attend: tickets are not refundable if you choose not to attend or are unable to, including because of illness, travel disruption or personal circumstances.

If we cancel the event: you will be offered a refund of the ticket face value.

If we move the event to a new date: your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you can’t attend the new date, you can ask for a refund of the ticket face value instead.

Programme changes: we may need to change the programme, including adding, withdrawing or substituting artists and activities. We will tell you about any significant change as soon as we reasonably can.

Events outside our control: we are not liable for costs such as travel or accommodation, or for delay or disruption, caused by events beyond our reasonable control — for example severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or instructions from the police or local authority. If the event has to be stopped once it is under way for reasons like these, refunds are not normally given.

Whether booking fees are refunded is set by Skiddle’s own terms.

No refund will be issued where a ticket holder is refused entry to, or removed from, the event site as a result of a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

3. Admission, Conduct & Security

The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the event without refund where their behaviour may cause danger, injury, or annoyance to others, or where they fail to comply with instructions from event staff or security. As a condition of entry, all attendees consent to security searches of their person and bags. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who declines a search or is found in possession of prohibited items.

All attendees must wear their event wristband at all times while on site — lost, removed, or tampered wristbands will be invalid. Re-entry is not permitted once you have left the site, other than in the case of a medical emergency and at the discretion of the Security Manager.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times while on site. This includes 16 and 17 year olds, who need an adult ticket.

Entry will also be refused to any person who has been notified in writing that they will not be admitted to events operated by Sauly Events Ltd — see section 4.

4. Previous Conduct & Refusal of Entry

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from, any of its events any person who has previously been refused entry to or removed from an event operated by Sauly Events Ltd, or whose previous conduct at such an event gives the organiser reasonable grounds to refuse entry.

Where the organiser has notified a person in writing that they will not be admitted to its events, that person must not purchase, hold, transfer or attempt to use a ticket, arrange for another person to purchase a ticket on their behalf, or attend the event site. If you have received such a notification and have already purchased tickets, please email events@saulyevents.co.uk quoting your order reference and the ticketing partner you booked with and we will arrange a refund. Refund requests under this clause must be received no later than 14 days before the event date. Where notification is given within 14 days of the event, requests must instead be made within 14 days of the date of that notification. Refunds are made at ticket face value; booking fees charged by our ticketing partners are non-refundable and will be retained.

Any person who has been notified in writing and who presents at the gate will be refused entry. No refund will be issued at the gate or at any time afterwards, and the organiser accepts no liability for travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred. Tickets held in the name of such a person, or which the organiser reasonably believes were purchased on their behalf, may be cancelled without notice.

If you arrive at the event and are refused entry on these grounds: decisions of this kind are not discussed, reviewed or overturned at the gate. Entry will be refused and you will be asked to leave the site. Event staff and security have no authority to set such a decision aside and will not discuss the reasons for it on the day. Anyone who believes a decision has been made in error, or who did not receive notification of it, must email events@saulyevents.co.uk after the event, and the matter will be reviewed away from the event site. Where the organiser is satisfied that notification was not properly given, a refund of the ticket face value will be issued. Refusal to leave the site when asked to do so may result in the police being called, and no refund will be issued in those circumstances.

Decisions under this clause are made at the organiser’s discretion. Any request that a decision be reviewed must be made in writing to the email address above and will be considered outside of event days.

5. Prohibited & Permitted Items

Not permitted on site: alcohol; all outside food and drink (except as set out under Permitted and Medical exemptions below); glass containers, including baby food jars; flasks or containers of hot liquid; sharp objects, knives, or weapons; aerosol cans; illegal or psychoactive substances; fireworks, flares, sparklers, smoke canisters, lasers, or pyrotechnics; portable barbecues and camping stoves; pop-up gazebos, folding tables, and bulky or oversized chairs and sun loungers; pet dogs and all other animals (assistance dogs are welcome — see below); any item considered dangerous or disruptive by event management.

Permitted: empty reusable water bottles (for use at designated refill points); food and drink for children under 3 attending the event with you — baby food, formula milk, expressed breast milk, and drinks in a baby bottle or toddler beaker — in quantities reasonable for the duration of the event, in pouches or plastic containers only and subject to inspection at bag search; compact folding camping chairs and picnic blankets (not in restricted areas); prescribed medication and adrenaline auto-injectors (such as EpiPens) in original packaging; small snacks, glucose and drinks carried for a condition such as diabetes. The organiser may add to this list for safety reasons.

Assistance dogs: pet dogs and other animals are not permitted, as this is a live music event with high sound levels throughout the day. Assistance dogs are welcome, in line with the Equality Act 2010. It helps us to know you’re coming, so if you can, contact us in advance at events@saulyevents.co.uk and we’ll talk through the day with you.

Medical exemptions: apart from the items for children under 3 and the diabetes supplies listed under Permitted, outside food and drink will be permitted where it is required for a documented medical condition or medically necessary dietary requirement. Please bring written proof to show at the gate — a letter from a GP, consultant, hospital or clinic, a repeat prescription, or an equivalent medical document naming the attendee. Photographs of documents may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Please contact us in advance at events@saulyevents.co.uk so that arrangements can be made and your entry is not delayed. Only the quantity reasonably required for the duration of the event will be permitted.

Possession of illegal drugs or of any weapon carries the specific consequences set out in section 6.

6. Drugs, Weapons & Zero Tolerance

The organiser operates a zero tolerance policy in respect of illegal drugs and weapons. All attendees are subject to search as a condition of entry and may be searched again at any point while on site.

Any person found in possession of illegal drugs, psychoactive substances, drug paraphernalia, a weapon, or any item which in the reasonable judgement of event management could be used as a weapon, will be refused entry or removed from the site immediately. No refund will be issued in these circumstances. Such items will be confiscated and will not be returned.

Prescribed medication: this section does not apply to medication lawfully prescribed to the attendee, including cannabis-based medicinal products prescribed under the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001. Such medication must be presented at the gate in its original pharmacy packaging with an intact, legible dispensing label showing the attendee’s name, together with photo ID matching that name. For cannabis-based medication, a letter from the prescribing clinic confirming the prescription must also be shown. Commercial cards such as Cancard or MedCannID are not prescriptions and cannot be accepted on their own. Where cannabis-based medication is permitted on site it may be administered by medical vaporiser only; smoking or combusting cannabis in any form remains unlawful and will result in immediate removal from the site without refund. A discreet area is available on request — please speak to a member of the welfare team.

Where the organiser considers it appropriate, confiscated items and the details of the individual concerned will be passed to Kent Police. Any person suspected of supplying, or of intending to supply, controlled substances will be detained pending police attendance.

The same applies to any person who arrives in a state of intoxication such that they present a risk to themselves or to others, or who behaves in a violent, threatening, abusive or discriminatory manner. Refusal of entry or removal on any of these grounds carries no entitlement to a refund or to compensation.

The organiser may, at its discretion, notify any person refused entry or removed under this section that they will not be admitted to future events operated by Sauly Events Ltd.

7. Photography, Filming, CCTV & Body-Worn Video

We take photographs and video at our events and use them to promote our events, including in advertising and on social media. You may appear in this footage. We own the rights in the photographs and video we take.

If you’d rather not appear: tell a member of staff on the day, or email events@saulyevents.co.uk, and we will avoid using identifiable images of you or your child where we reasonably can, and remove published images of you on request. Full details of your rights are in our Privacy Policy.

CCTV and body-worn video: the event site is monitored by CCTV, and security operatives wear body-worn cameras. Recording may be activated during searches, where entry is refused, and where an incident is developing. This is carried out for the prevention and detection of crime, the safety of attendees and staff, and to provide an evidential record. CCTV and body-worn video are operated by our appointed security contractor, who records, holds and is responsible for that footage under their own privacy policy and retention arrangements. The organiser does not hold this footage and does not have routine access to it. Footage may be disclosed to the police or other authorities where required by law. To make a request in relation to footage of yourself, contact events@saulyevents.co.uk and we will pass your request to our security contractor.

8. Personal Property & Vehicles

Attendees enter and park vehicles at their own risk. The organiser, venue, contractors, and partners accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, vehicles, or any other belongings brought onto or left at the event site, except where caused by our negligence.

9. Accessibility & Carer Tickets

One free carer ticket may be provided for each paid admission ticket held by an attendee who needs assistance.

How to apply: email events@saulyevents.co.uk in advance of the event with your Skiddle order reference, the name of the person who needs assistance, and a short note of the support they need. Applications may need to be supported by appropriate documentation, and the organiser will decide eligibility.

Carer and assistance tickets can only be issued where the accompanying admission ticket was purchased directly from Skiddle, the organiser’s only official ticketing partner. Where an admission ticket has been obtained from any other source, no carer or assistance ticket will be issued against it. Other sources include, but are not limited to, Love to visit, resale and exchange platforms, ticket agents or brokers, competition, gift or package providers, and any other third party, irrespective of how the ticket was described at the point of sale. This is because the organiser can only verify eligibility and allocate a carer ticket against bookings held by Skiddle, and has no access to orders placed elsewhere.

Our site is wheelchair accessible with disabled toilets on site. Please contact us in advance at the email address above if you have specific requirements.

10. General

Attendance at any event operated by Sauly Events Ltd is at the attendee’s own risk, except to the extent that loss or injury is caused by our negligence or breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Where the organiser has notified a person that they will not be admitted, that decision applies to all events operated by Sauly Events Ltd unless the organiser states otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes will not apply to tickets already bought unless they are needed for safety or security, or to comply with the law or a licence condition.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For any queries, please contact us at events@saulyevents.co.uk.
